Welcome to the Kim Laboratory

established November 20, 2006

Research in our laboratory is led by Tae Hoon Kim *.

We study emerging mechanisms of genome expression: transcription insulation, transcription elongation and long range chromosomal interactions.

We are located in the Department of Genetics, Yale University School of Medicine.

The main goals of these pages are the following:

  • introduce our laboratory
  • describe our research program
  • catalog general features of the human genome
  • highlight various control mechanisms of gene expression mechanisms
  • describe various transcriptional aberrations in human cancers

We have openings:

  • undergraduate students
  • graduate students
  • postdoctoral fellows

Please email Tae for more information regarding these openings.
